Get Ready to Sign

The lender will provide all of the loan documents to the closing attorney to be signed at the closing table. You will receive a “HUD-1,” also known as the Closing Statement, which provides a line item detail of all of the monies to be paid and received by both parties to the transaction. The closing attorney will explain each document, and you will sign each one.

In Less than an Hour, You Can Call it Home

The whole process usually takes about 45 minutes. Once the papers have been signed, and any funds brought to the closing have been received by the attorney, the deed will be recorded with the county and the property transfer will be complete. You may now move in!
